It was really mild this fall, so far winter has been also. When Elliot came in November we introduced him to several of our favourite places to hike. He seemed to really enjoy being out in the forest and was a real trooper even if the weather turned wet and cold! We went to Seattle to share a very festive Thanksgiving weekend with Jim’s sisters and families. Elliot and I then carried on to California. I always love my visits with the Logans - being a part of their ‘everyday’ lives. Back home to Victoria in mid December for a quiet holiday season. Most of our outdoor activity in the winter has been hiking (gardening must wait for springtime!).
Stellar year for Chanterelles!
